Enchanting Music from Exotic Corners of the Globe
Erika Borsos | Gulf Coast of FL, USA | 06/30/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Chris Spheeris captures many ambient energetic cultural sounds on this CD. The musical flavour of the Meditarranean, Asia, and a bit of the Middle East is expressed in an elegant array of style and creative expression. This is music for a quiet dinner ... romance ... relaxation. Experience the vibrant dynamic life of diverse exotic places. This CD will energize the listener and release the imagination. It is delightful music which expresses the sounds of enchanted locations from around the globe. Erika Borsos (erikab93)"
Impulse buy is a keeper
R Warrick | New Jersey | 02/27/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I usually always regret impulse purchases. Not this one. I had never heard Chris Spheeris until I stumbled onto a free Friday afternoon concert he gave in Sedona in 1998. I bought a couple of albums on the spot, and they remain just about the favorites of my collection. Chris can play (and create) music from all around the world and make it exciting or beautiful or both, as needed. I can't imagine anyone who likes New Age or international music and a beat not loving this one."
What most New Age albums dream of being
John Wheeler | King David's Harp, Inc., Houston, TX. USA | 01/07/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've heard several of Chris Spheeris' albums, but this is by far the best. Because it's so grounded in the "real world", it's perhaps closer to "world music" than "New Age music". My favorite track is "Bombay", but there isn't a track on this CD that isn't worth hearing."
