Ghost City is Chris Pickering's third solo release. Produced by award winning legend Magoo, it features songs from Pickering's forthcoming album as well as some exclusive EP-only tracks. Ghost City careers from indie-rock (Wonders, Nobody) into more traditional fingerpicking country territory (All or Nothing), then thumbs a lift to David Lynch's Black Lodge with Edge of the Earth. Guest performers on the recording include Savannah Jo Lack (violin), Megan Washington (backing vocals), Helen Russell (bass) and Michael Flanders (pedal steel). Chris's unique blend of traditional country and left-of-centre rock comes to the fore on this release, and provides a tantalising glimpse of things to come
