Synopsis

Product Description
NEW RELEASE: Latest CD by Chris DeMarco is now available for shipping! The past and the present connect on this CD featuring 11 newly recorded songs with Dick Wagner (Alice Cooper Band), Tommy Talton (Gregg Allman Band and Cowboy), Ken Mazur (Robert Palmer Band), Barry Richman and Paul Hurst on Guitars. Billy Langley on Keyboards. Rhys Clark (Billy Joel Band and Freddy Fender Band) playing drums. Jim Fielder (Buffalo Springfield, Blood Sweat and Tears and Neil Sedaka) on Bass. JSax on Sax and Jan Gardner singing Background with Chris.

One of the songs on "LOST AND FOUND", entitled "SAIL AWAY", was recorded early in his career and is included on this CD because he had the good fortune to have three of the musicians who worked with him back then come to Georgia to record the new tracks for "LOST AND FOUND".

"SAIL AWAY" was one of four songs recorded at Larrabee Recording Studio in Hollywood CA. and The Record Plant in Sausalito CA. Co-producing with Chris was Ray Colcord who had just produced Aerosmith's first album. The sound engineer was Jimmy Robinson who was one of the engineers on the Jimi Hendrix albums (You can hear Jimmy saying "That was the one" at the end of Sail Away). The sessions included Billy Joel playing Piano, Dick Wagner and Michael Monarch (Steppenwolf) on Guitar, Jim Fielder on Bass and Rhys Clark on Drums for two songs and Klaus Voorman (The Beatles, John Lennon and George Harrison) on Bass and Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix) playing Drums on the others.
