CD Reviews

Let's get retarded in here!

"Chris Burke is the actor with Down's Syndrome who was on the TV show Life Goes On. This is his album for children. I say that it's "his" album, but most of the singing on the album is done by Joe & John DeMasi. In fact, Chris can't sing at all. I don't mean that he sings badly, I mean that he doesn't actually sing. The few lyrics that Chris is actually allowed to perform are spoken by him, not sung. The album mostly consists of bad original songs, but there are also bad cover versions of The Beatles "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", The Coasters "Poison Ivy" and Nat "King" Cole's "Nature Boy". This is a terrible children's album, which I am sure that children will not enjoy. Here is the track listing:

1. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
2. Love Makes the World Go Round
3. You're a Star
4. Poison Ivy
5. Rising in Love
6. My Imagination
7. Nature Boy
8. Everybody in the Pool
9. Eating is Fun, Eating is Serious
10. Forever Girl
11. Nobody's Chasin' Nobody
12. All Walk Together"
Not worth the amount wanted

"I honestly would not pay the $88.00 suggested from one of the sellers when you can purchase it from his own site for $20.00. I wouldn't even pay the $20.00 for this. I have listened to the mp3 samples on his site and the only way this would probably sell is if someone had not heard it prior to buying it. "Crazy in Love" was as bizarre as it gets. If you like singing mixed with random bits of shouting, then you will love this album. If not, then pass on it."
Uplifting album and inspirtional songs
