Chris Broach (of Braid, The Firebird Band, L' Spaerow, Life at Sea, and more) has finished an album that has been in the works for nearly 4 years. Broach has a host of guest musicians play on this album with him to create a truly eclectic, yet cohesive album. Many songs have been cut, re-added, re-shaped, and re-arranged to fit. Experimental, Electronic, Acoustic, and everything else... but it's still indie, and it's still killer. All of his ideas and experiences that have come from years of drinking, and now - two and a half years of sobriety (Broach spent a few short days in a psych ward for what he calls "drinking himself into insanity" before agreeing to enter treatment for alcoholism over two years ago and remains sober) - have led to an interesting mix of songs about hurt, love, alcohol, faith, science, and the rest of it. While Broach is still working on a new album for The Firebird Band, he has promised two more full length albums (as himself) - in quick succession to this one - as his way of "...getting all of the material that [he's] been working on out [and available]..."
