"Three years before his death, Chet Baker played this spare but rich and deeply touching set to a European festival crowd. The trio is Baker plus guitar and bass, with guitarist Philip Catherine matching Baker's own moving solo on the opening "Sad Walk." Baker opens up his vocal chops on the closing admission "But Not for Me." A shame this one's out of print at the time I write this."
