"Half-Price Compilation focuses on Cher's early recordings. After achieving great success both as a solo artist and as «The Sonny & Cher» duo... Cher released her first record with MCA, titled `Cher', the album included the super No 1 Hit «Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves» & the American Top 10 hit «The Way Of Love».
Her second MCA record was titled «Foxy Lady» (1972), which included Cher's 3rd U.S Hit «Living In A House Divided».
Cher continued to make hits in the years 1973-1974. In 1973 she released her 3rd MCA record, «Half Breed» & a few months later came another chart-topper album «Dark Lady».
This compilation covers that era in Cher's career, & the songs are taken from those albums PLUS extra 5 recordings with Sonny (1 of them LIVE)
For it's price, it's a great CD to have in your collection."
