"Charley Monroe's music may not be as influential or innovative as brother Bill's enormous output of hardcore blue grass music, but anyone who loves Bill Monroe's music will also enjoy Charley's. This music is excellent and is a must for fans of the Monroe Brothers as well as collectors of Bill Monroe's output. The live music on the 4th disc is not filler, it is well recorded and finds Charley Monroe in good form."
