CD ReviewsFirst Time apearances of some of these works on CD Jay Silman | New York City, New York | 01/22/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "CPO has done a service in issuing this album of Beriot Violin Concerti and I hope that they complete the series with all ten of the composer's Violin Concerti. There is a typo in the Opus Number of Concerto No. 7 in G: it is Op. 76 not 73. Concerto No. 4 makes its debut for the first time in any format. The violinist, Laurent Breuninger, does a fine job with these works although purists may quibble about some of the showy effects demonstrated in Violin Concerto No. 2. I would have recommended this disc as a five star item except for the typo mentioned earlier which is consistent wherever the concerto is mentioned in the liner notes."
