Dequesada | JAMAICA,, NY United States | 12/11/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a CD re-issue of a best selling 1962 Alegre label vinyl Lp album compilation by Alegre CEO, the late great Al Santiago. Included in this compilation are old 1954 Havana recording sessions made by Fajardo & His All Star Orchestra for the New York City based latin "Tico"label. Also featured are early recordings by Pacheco y Su Charanga and Charlie Palmieri and His Charanga "La Duboney". Many Pacheco and Palmieri fans do not know that both musicians premiered their musical careers in the early 60's directing cuban style charanga ensembles, for nearly 4 years. My favorite song in this compilation is a mambo by Palmieri which he entitled "Que Bien". If you're a charanga fan, this CD will surely please you."
