"I received a copy of a French-made CD of the New Zealand group, "The Spirit Boys," as a gift a few years ago. This is definitely the same collection (some of the songs were written by Rudy Sunde). Don't know why the name isn't on the case. I've collected several other CDs by others since, but none can compare - this one sets the standard. They generally have an unpolished sound that I imagine is far more authentic than others and their enthusiasm is infectious. You'll be singing along with them. Rudy and his friends released another CD in New Zealand a couple years ago, "Hurrah for Our Captain!", which I've not been able to lay hands on here in the US. I'm ordering Volume 2 in hopes that they are one and the same."

Its great! The only CD for guys who like seamen.
