"split lip was a emo band back in the day- and when this album cam out originally, it was release by split lip. the band was changing artisticly, and recognizing their own change, the album starting showing up in stores since with name chamberlain instead of split lip as the artist. chamberlain went on to write completely different albums from that of the split lip era. nevertheless, this album is a shows something of a hybrid of both sounds (and names) this band had. the result is what i consider to be something haunting and beautiful, one of my favorite albums.. something i believe all those into sunny day and elliott, or some of chamberlain's other work should not be without."
