How can this be?

"How can it be that someone's voice remains golden for the better part of 40 years? Listening to this album made me ponder how talent is distributed among the population, and I've decided that Chad got his own share and that of a few other people. His voice is still gorgeous. I've seen it described as an "exquisite tenor," and I don't think that's being hyperbolic. The material here is varied, and demonstrates Chad's seasoned musical tastes. "Vital Signs" is a bouncy ode to the simple things that make life's moments special, and references Chad's notable affinity for aquatic themes, which fans of the Trio may recall from his original songs - the opening line is "And I am drawn to moving waters..." . "Clinging To The Vine" is a sad reflection on a longtime love that has lost its vibrancy. "Wild Plainsmen's Kind" is a beautifully orchestrated song that truly highlights Chad's incredible vocal control as he sings of charming-but-elusive rugged men. This is certainly a must-have for fans of Chad and the Trio, and is highly recommended."
