The origins of Central Services can be traced back 12 years and across the country, to a sunny Connecticut suburb where Jeff and Kevin went to high school. Three bands and a long stint in the Boston music scene later, the two found themselves in Seattle collaborating on the kind of pop they'd always dreamed of playing. Kevin and Jeff are joined by bassist Mark Livingston, keyboardist Eric Goetz and rhythm guitarist Ethan Jones, who shares membership, along with Kevin, in Seattle band Math and Physics Club. The band released a 4-song debut EP in December 2005, "We're All Smarter Now". This is their self-titled full length follow-up release.
