Welcome To My World showcases just a sample of the musical adventures one can take with electric violinist Cathy Morris and her six piece band. Her original compositions dip into a variety of stylistic influences and grooves but throughout Cathy maintains an approach to her instrument unlike any other violinist allowing her to convey the stories behind these songs without words. This fifth recording of Cathy's is a contemporary/smooth jazz sound that is refreshingly different.

"I was lucky enough to catch Cathy's act during a business trip to Indianapolis. I have been a fan ever since! This CD, like It's About Time, will not dissapoint. The musicianship and arrangements are second to none. Cathy makes the violin sing. Bottom line, listen to this CD and you'll find yourself in a better mood when it's finished.
