Synopsis

Album Description
Seattle rock band The Catheters have already, despite their tender age, released one full-length and a handful of singles, and spent time on the road with the likes of The Murder City Devils, Mudhoney and Motorhead (and that's just the M's...). An auspicious beginning, but nothing that even hints at the rock captured on this record. It's an album that elevates and obliterates in one motion - shaking either fist or ass in the face of our collective mortality.

"This CD is just mind blowing. I can't believe how great this band is especially during an age of some terrible modern rock bands. Overall the Catheters just rock so buy this CD now and support this great band!!"

"This is what its all about. Wow, if only you knew. Probably one of the top Seattle bands at the moment (playing this coming weekend, hope to catch them) this album will blow your mind. Lots of the Stooges in their sound - but theres lots lots more, buy this now , crank it up and breathe the air."
Subpop strikes gold again

"Over the years, Subpop has found many diamonds in the rough. And this is their latest little gem. The Catheters mix the older rock sound of The Strokes with the gritty angst of Nirvana and even add a slight hardcore influence. Static Delusions flows very well too, there are a few low points but there are many more high points, especially my favorite song on the album, Nothing."
