CD ReviewsSolid as Ever Robert A. Johnson | Columbia, Missouri | 02/05/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "This CD continues the trend of tight R&B tunes written by Ernie and Earl Cate. They are the masters of blue eyed Memphis-based soul music. The cuts on this CD are tight and well written, although is seems somewhat of an attempt to move toward a mainstream audience compared to their prior release "Radioland", which is more consistent with their 1970's recordings and song writing. As always, a good buy. You can't go wrong with these guys. They are the masters of blue-eyed soul music."
