I recently read a review of this cd by some bozo who gave it 2 stars. What a moron! Maybe that's what you get from fans of Weezie or whatever they're called. And who cares about the bass player when he doesn't write anything? I saw Carnival Art live back in the early 90s as the warm-up act for Poster Children (YUK!) and Buzzcocks (buzz kill that night). CA blew them away, and I picked up their two discs not long after. This one is heavier than the first, and musically and lyrically I still think it's a fantastic piece by a band that never got their due. I wouldn't call it punk or wave, but I can hear the influence. But this is just good rock and roll, a slap in the face here, an unexpected turn there, this is fabulous stuff, I highly recommend it as well as the other CA album. This one gets 5 stars; I don't even have to think about it. It's that good.

"well if you didnt know already the bassist for carnival art joined weezer in 1994 to record ther debut album the blue album which is a classic and one of weezers best albums ever recorded. i personnaly thought that he did a pure and good job on both the blue album and weeezer's other releases including pinkerton and the green album. but as bassist for carnival he was ok. thier 1992 album welcome to vas Llegas is abit of a letdown but did offer some preety good beats guitar riffs and lyrics that kept my attention while listening to the album. i gave this album two stars because even though the album offerd some preety good music potential and some well written songs i thought it could have been abit better especially including more uplifting beats, and lyrics that would draw you into the songs. overall though a decent album.thanks for reading by review."
