"I was listening to my public radio station on my way home from school, and during a special new item called "Discoveries" the host introduces a relatively unknown band with great talent. That describes Carney in a nutshell. Going for quality over quantity, each song of the four on disc is excellent, and the price is right. A soft rock feeling with plenty of surprises and influences, Carney is something special to listen to."

"Pick this CD up! I happened to be meeting a friend at a local lounge/club. Carney was playing and I was so impressed, I picked up the CD. They've got a great, unique sound and clever lyrics. If you like the Shins, Toadies or anything in between, you'll enjoy this band."
