"Like another reviewer, I originally purchased this in cassette form the year it was released. I've never forgotten standing under the stars visiting distant galaxies, projected there by the sounds of Carlos Alomar. I loved this disc and never forgot it after it died with the technology I played it on.



Fast forward to days influenced increasingly by nostalgia. I've been looking up a lot of the music from my past. This disc has not dissapointed! It's new-agey but funky. It's not too complex, but it isn't too simple either. It's just good, fun music with a spacey-rock feel that stands the test of time. Top 10 in my collection, nah. Top 100, you bet. (It's a pretty big collection). I feel like Carlos was smiling when it was recorded. That counts for a lot with me. Beside's how bad could a guy be who played with Bowie for years? Not bad at all, I say.



I'm not a musician or a critic. But I somehow have a keen sense of quality music and a genuine appreciation for all genres (ok, there are a few exceptions). You won't find me listening to top 40, but I can't tell you how many friends and acquaintences have heard what was playing in my car or on my stereo and shortly thereafter added it to their collection.



This is good stuff. Buy it if you can find it. I say disregard any negative comment that lacks specifics."
