"For the people who like elegant, musically correct singing of Verdi's operas, this CD should do it. Apart from excellent sound and a superb choice of musical excerpts from operas not usually performed (I due foscari & Giovanna D"Arco), you get a bonus of Aida's excerpts from a 1968 Met broadcast, with a ravishing Leontyne Price as Aida. Highly reccomended."
