"Carl Cox rips it loose in Motown on this 2nd Session of Mixed Live !! The tracks are thumpin', pumpin' hard trance danceables....just what you'd expect from Carl's live work. Carl uses the sound board to create effects and even yells out to the crowd throughout the mix....its fast, furious and fun....the only thing missing is his trademark ending where he cuts the power to the turntable and lets the last song wind down to a stop on the open mike...all in all I think this mix is superior to his 1st Session of Mixed Live....its harder, more thumpin' and more representative of...well...Carl Cox Live !!(at least when he comes to Miami.....Crobar and Ultrafest come to mind). Carl is best when he's live and this is a good snapshop of his work. The tune selection is basic but you won't find the tunes on any of your other mixes !! Its quality fare and worth picking up, especially at used price. Hopefully Carl will mix Session 3 real soon. Mix one live in Miami, Carl !!! We're dying to see you again !!"

"Carl Cox sure knows how to deliver the music the way the people want to hear it. I think Carl Cox is an amazing DJ, and this CD only gives the proof. The CD comes in Bangin' and goes out Pumpin, Carl never misses a beat. He does get on the mic a few times, but I think it adds to the mix, he directly talks to the crowd, he gets them off like no other DJ can.
The best part is the remix of "Be Angeled" it adds an extra touch, along with the Tracks produced by Carl. I listen to this CD wherever I am, It definantly gets me pumped."
