The nine separate pieces on this disc, performed by Taller Sonoro (with whom Camarero has had a long relationship), span a compositional history of nearly 20 years but, when put together, contribute to an almost unified sense across over an hour's worth of music. The title work, scored for saxophone, percussion, and piano, presents the composer at his most intimate and evocative, yet also his most direct and accessible.
