not from my childhood home of Pasadena, Maryland. I'd still adore Callow! Gorgeous vocals and arrangements! I hate to do this but I have to compare Bens voice to that of Jimi Goodwins of the Doves...sorry but it is a bit uncanny.So what's not to love here! "Lessons in Shut Eye" is a magical little Pop number with light and airy Female backup vocals by Tiffany. Stunning acoustic and electric guitars intermingled with Violins and Cellos on "King Beachy".It's a beautiful thing! Grab their debut "Little Sisters of the Poor Bazaar" too! Oh and YES! Steve is quite a talented and gifted Percussionist!" |
