Tight Beautiful Broad blues collection - a real "upper".

"I was VERY impressed with the instrumentation and mix of this one. The guitar work is great and the band has a very integrated sound with some nice surprises (like the marima against the hard rhythm in the middle of the "Don't you play no Rhumba" cut). The Baritone Sax and the Trumpet in "A fool for you" just tears me up. Pat coast does all the vocals, and has a sound for each style. The album is an "upper" with a positive sound, and some touches of subtle humor. You like blues - you'll be impressed with this one."
