Sadly overlooked rocksteady trio

""What Kind of World" introduced the world to the Cables, and, sadly, was all the world heard from them..Coxsone Dodd, in the late 60's, added the trio, led by the fragile voice of Keble Drummond, to his amazing stable of singers, and allowed them to record. What followed were a string of top rate hits that included "Be A Man," "Love Is a Pleasure," "What Kind of World,", and "Baby Why," all of which appear on this lp.Sadly, this was all the trio was ever able to do, and the Cables, the one hit album wonders with 5 certified hits, faded into obscurity. A tragedy. Here at last is that amazing, yet ill-fated lp. Give it a listen. It is one that wreaks of "what if" possibilities. What if, indeed."
