But they deserve a loftier position in their own right via a string of superb harmony pop-driven beat & psychedelic pop 45s on Pye, issued between 1965 & 1968. Pattern People includes The Bystanders' entire recorded output, adding six previously unissued tracks from an aborted album, 'Stay A Little While', 'You're Ready Now' (Frankie Valli cover), 'Cheryl's Going Home', 'Little Girl I Once Knew', 'Dang Me' & 'My Way Of Thinking'. Additional highlights are the psych classic, 'Cave Of Clear Light', their rare debut for Pylot Records & Jimmy Webb's 'Pattern People'. 23 tracks.
