Synopsis

Product Description
Record Machine is Buzz Cason's second album on the Plowboy label after last year's 'Troubadour Heart'. The album was recorded at Buzz's legendary Creative Workshop studio with engineer Joe Funderburk and is an eclectic mix of Americana sounds including a heavy dose of rock, singer-songwriter folk, rockabilly and even some reggae. The ten original songs are joined by a laid back remake of George Jones' 'She Thinks I Still Care' , written by Buzz's good friend Dickey Lee. The title track is an homage to the vinyl record and fits perfectly today's resurgence of the medium.
Recently Buzz was honored by both The Country Music Hall Of Fame & Museum and BMI for his contributions to both rock and country music history for his compositions 'Everlasting Love' and 'Soldier of Love' , among others which have been covered by many great artists including The Beatles, U2, Pearl Jam & Robert Knight . He is an enduring legend, as prolific and relevant as ever.

About Record Machine, Buzz offers:
'Record Machine is special to me and hopefully it will be a positive experience for the listener. The record is a slice of my musical life, incorporating emotions and thoughts of recent times as well as just fun times recorded in the studio. I hope everyone loves music as much as I do and finds this record entertaining. As the title cut says: from the first time I heard a needle hit vinyl: I've been in love with music ever since that day!...'
