Another forgotten country music singer from Tennessee...

"For some reason, this is another product that Amazon.com has neglected to list the contents of. I'm not a huge country music fan, but as I was growing up, Butch Baker's "Don't it make you wanna go home?" was one of my favorite songs. In fact, the music video for that song was filmed right under the large interstate overpass in Melrose, Tennessee, less than 5 minutes from where I now live! That song was the one and ONLY reason I bought this cd, but to my disappointment that song wasn't even on this cd! There was no way of knowing the contents because Amazon didn't list the songs, and the songs that are on this cd are mostly mediocre at best. For the handful of country music fans who're actually curious about this cd, I'll list the songs:

4. "Wonderful Tonight"

5. "Playing With Her Sweet Thing" -don't ask!

6. "Working Class"

Well, there you have it. Butch Baker's musical career was short-lived, but in the mid to late 1980's he was at least well-known in his home state. If you love "old-school" country music with a passion, then you might enjoy this forgotten album by the forgotten singer, Butch Baker."
