"I first heard of Bugskull from a review of this album. I noticed that the reviewer liked the album a lot and the review was quite lengthy but I still had no idea what the band sounded like. After picking up the album, I realized why. The music is great but not pinned down to one particular style. Some of the songs use junky Casio keyboards for drum beats and some use cowbells and wah-wah pedals. It all comes together, though. The song "Mind Phaser" is a repetitive psychadelic rock song that seems to float you away in a big, weird cloud while the title track "Snakland" is some weird low-budget dance song or something. Like the review I read, I can't relly tell you what you're in for but I can tell you that this is a really great album."
