This album started paving the road to what became one of the hardest rocking underrated original bands in the history of rock with many cult-like followers.
A great album. Not the best sounding album but remember this was 1972. It's raw and it rocks!

"When people talk about heavy Budgie albums, they always mention "In For The Kill" or "Never Turn Your Back" but this one is the heaviest and most even of all. It flows really well from song to song with that early Rodger Bain Sabbath production. This the best of the early Budgie, real ugly hard rock. All the other albums have way to many slow moments throwing the balace off, but this one delivers thru and thru,Compared to the others mentioned this is just better and its only the second album.Check out the first Budgie also its got a lot of punch too....."
