Synopsis

Album Description
The first single I CRY taken from the movie soundtrack 'Boytown'. Limited Edition digipak with pull out poster. The greatest boyband of the eighties leave their humdrum lives for one last crack at the big time. Vocalists Benny G, Bobby Mac, Corey, Tommy Boy and Carl believe they still have some unfinished music business to complete. They return to the stage with slightly older fans, and slightly larger pants, but they are still the fun loving boy band you remember. And now, in 2006 they release the first single to be lifted from their 5th studio album ?LOVE HANDLES' ; the smash hit single, I Cry. The single is emotive, it's triumphant, it's classic BOY-TOWN-tastic! "I cry when I look at the moon, I cry when I see a little bird". The very very limited edition single also includes a 12" remix of stable mate (and wife of Benny G's) Holly with the 2006 remix of RING MY BELL - which is causing a sensation on the dancefloor. What the industry says about BOYTOWN'S return: "I told you to do yourself a favour and check out this group. So look at them now, dare I say they are Bigger than the Beatles." Ian "Molly" Meldrum "Having been conceived to BOYTOWN their relevance in my life is second to none. Just the mention of Corey still wets my mum's sponge, they are the best gang of boys to play with each other in years" Lowie (Hot 30 Countdown / CDLIVE). "We were just four sweet innocent girls and after one hot dance with Boytown we woke up as young Divas. You wanna know how we hit those notes - ask BoyTown- they will take you beyond the G spot to F sharp". Young Divas. "Lock up your mothers" Marty Boomstein.
