CD Reviews

For all fans of The Boys

"The Boys are alive and well and now performing under the name Suns of Light. You can check out their website www.sunsoflight.com you can only buy their music by mp3 download. They are all grown up...some have kids and at least two of them are living in Africa."
The Best of The Boys!

"By 1992 The Boys were one of the most famous R&B groups ever. With their super hit, Dial My Heart paving the way to their fabulous career they will always be one of the 80's best groups and one of Motowns biggest discoveries. The Saga Continues is about the boys growing up. The lyrics are raunchy and risky but they get the job done. All of the songs on the album are terrific. If you love R&B the 90's way you definitely need to add this to your collection. This is by far the best The Boys release ever! Unfortunately it was their last. I'm waiting anxiously for Motown to release a greatest hits album in The Boys' honor. It's way overdo."
BY FAR, THEIR BEST !!!

"I love this album and always have since it first came out in '92. They had become young men on this album and I hoped to see their transformation into man-hood blossom ( like Usher, Marques Houston, etc ). This album is a must-have for any BOYS fan. You won't be sorry. I can still jam to this CD even in 2005. This was by far their greatest production over the years. Hakeem did an excellent job with these tracks and arrangements. This was not "bubble-gum" music. This album left me wanting for more from these guys. They had changed for the better in my opinion. Though I've gotten a chance to visit their new website "TheSunsoflight.com" and realize people desire to change their way of life, I still remember & miss The Boys. I'm glad I got this coming of age album of theirs before they went thru their transition."
