CD Reviews

Perfect Capture of the Live Show
Steve Coogan | Gainesville, FL USA | 10/19/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"After seeing Boxelder twice in one week, I had to buy the album. Without reading the case, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a lot of live tracks (all but two in fact). This band has an amazing live show, the energy that they put out shakes the building and the hearts of everyone in the audience. The message of the much is clear, love, respect, hope, peace, character. All of the qualities that set apart good bands are all through the cd, energy, musical integrity, and power. In a short time they have accomplished a lot, and I know that I am looking foward to everything that they will bring to us all in the future."
Best Band in Florida

"Similar sound to Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Long Beach Dub, Bad Brains, but they have their own unique style and positive message. The live album really captures the essence of their shows. This band is truly one of love and strength and this cd is a must have! While songs like Teach the World and Money Says show their reggae roots and upbeat messages Day After Day and The Cold show their versatility to straight up rock songs similar to Blind Melon and even some punk. If you like the cd, go see them live. They will blow you away!!!!!"
