The word 'jungle' here seems to be used in the more traditional (i.e. Martin Denny) sense, exotica-laden samples & enchanted island vox & human rhythms (sped up to completely alien tempos, perhaps the only 'jungle' jungle oriented activity herein) that don't fail to confound your sense of well being. "I had the extreme pleasure of visiting Japan in december and was able to pick a few of the yet unreleased Boredoms albums. I liked this one quite a bit.The boredoms keep going futher and futher with there music and this one is unlike the others.Jungle Taitei is probably one of my new favorite boredoms songs, and is on this album. The song starts out with traditional Japanesse drums and the changes in a sonic flight with Mr. Sandman-esque backing vocals...A must buy for any boredoms fan."
