"Look, all three of the CD's are essential. I had the opportunity to hear 4 of Sean's unreleased songs back in 1986. I told him then that I thought No Girl Gonna Cry was his best composition ever. After hearing it here...I still think so! Not everything on here is great but most of it is."
A wonderful treat after 30+ years.

"If you grew up in the 1960s, and remember being blown away by The Music Machine's single TALK TALK, this CD is welcome and a real treat. Many of the completely underrated and almost totally overlooked Sean Bonniwell songs are real gems. This compilation is a road map to how the band got its start and also shows where it tried to go, but lack of commercial success doomed the band. HOT here are an early, rawer version of the powerful TALK ME DOWN, the politicially-sharp and awesome rockers CITIZEN FEAR and POINT OF NO RETURN, the never before heard WORRY, which is in full bloom on the 2-part, longer CD version, the Beatles-flavored TWO MUCH, and the strong, thoughtful ballad CHANCES. Get this one. Bonniwell and the MUSIC MACHINE were rocknroll genius at work."

"Total of nineteen tracks,of unreleased and some of the band's super-rare singles from 1965-69.Too bad this late '60's garage/pyschedelic band didn't last longer than they did.Tunes here that I liked the best were the somewhat-inspiring "Everything Is Everything","Black Snow","Push Don't Pull",the psych/pop "Citizen Fear" and "Tell Me What Ya Got".I mean, all or at least most of every one of these tracks are decent to very good.Overall,'Ignition' is aimed toward the fans who desire to have EVERYTHING that Music Machine had ever recorded."
A wonderful treat after 30 years. Bonniwell is a master.

"A collection of mostly unreleased tracks from Sean Bonniwell's archives. The CD features not only all eras of the Music Machine, but also several songs by the Ragamuffins, the band that soon evolved into the MM of "Talk Talk" fame. Hot tracks here include "Worry" (which has an extended instrumental version on the CD release only), the Beatles-flavored "Two Much," the ballad "Chances," and the original version of "TALK ME DOWN" is a gem. "Citizen Fear" and "Point of No Return," meanwhile, are in a category of their own for high-energy rock with politically insightful lyrics. This work is essential for those who love the amazingly creative and unique music of the mid-1960s. Sundazed deserves thanks for releasing this material -- almost as much as the rock genius Bonniwell does for persevering all these years. A sweet and special collection."
