"The Scorpions were Germany's most infamous contributors to hard rock in the states, but Bonfire was alive and well. Though they did not receive the acclaim here in the U.S., their live show was tight, driving and laden with melody. Harmonies never sounded better and the excitement of high-energy rock filled the room. On this wonderful CD, the band takes the night by storm with such catchy songs as "Bang Down the Door" and "Ready for Action" to such beautiful ballads as "Look of Love" and "Who's Foolin' Who". Some bands cannot replicate their studio wizardry; these german gents are even better! If you've not listened to Bonfire previously, but you enjoy straight ahead rock with clean vocals and a solid bottom, then you must take this live show into your home....into your car.....and wherever you go! The songs are well-crafted and consistent. Bonfire possesses a formula that ignites your heart and gets you on your feet. Listening to this disc makes it quite easy to recall the girls in the bustiers and jeans up front; the guys in the back enjoying the band and the beautiful girls.......and everyone enjoying a night of great rock-n-roll! Bonfire is quite possibly the greatest band with the least acclaim in the states......this disc will make any rock lover's high rotation on the disc player.
