Bliss, Ill Flow, and Ceaz make up the Richmond, VA based group 'Bomb Skwad', and although these guys are virtually unknown, that will soon change. This album takes you back to 93 beat wise, but skill wise they are all 2005. It's been a while since I popped in a CD from a group I had never heard of and let the CD play front to back. This is that group. Their beat choices are amazing, each beat is dark, but put together so nice it keeps your head nodding, including the unbelievably raw Mighty Mighty Interlude. To my disappointment, The Bomb Skwad decided not to spit to that beat, but the Good, Bad, Ugly and Say Ahhhh made up for that. Let me repeat myself, this album is packed with raw ass beats. If you came up during the Wutang era, you will love this album. On a final note, the sing-a-long Some Kinda Outro is hilarious, but at the same time catchy in an abstract way. Check this album out whenever you get the chance.
