"This was my introduction to Bloodgood in 1991. I heard of them, but I never heard them. This was refreshing although they didn't break any new ground in Hard Rock, they made a stand and took you off of your Diet and made you get Fat again. Their albums were under produced, the mix wasn't the greatest either. This album to me seems just a tad bit polished. Of course with technology have you to upgrade yourselves with every new release, they even added a live track on here "Top of the mountain", which makes me believe that this was "re-mastered" before re-mastering became popular. The songs on here show case Bloodgood as a true rock band, there are no fillers on here just killers. This was a good idea to release, it also gave you a concept of what the band was doing at the time, but it didn't give you a fore sight on their new album "All Stand Together" that album I haven't heard since it came out. But I do know that's different than what they've done previously. I'll find that one and buy it at a reasonable price. Until then, I can't say anything bad about it. Listen to this and then get the originals (some are out of print still). Happy listening."
