Synopsis

Album Description
Atlanta?s blame game have been an active band for about five years now. This cd compiles everything that blame game has ever released. Featured on this cd are six new songs which were recorded in November of 2003; the eight songs which are present on the split lp with zann; the nine tracks which were recorded in December of 2001 - four of which were released as the blame game 7"; and there are four additional tracks which were recorded in late 1999 as a demo. All told there is seventy-seven minutes worth of music on this cd. Blame Game?s sound matured from a spastic grind/crust to mohinder-esqu manic screamy hardcore to their current very original don caballero meets captain beefheart meets screamo sound. Blame game have toured the Midwest/east coast twice, have tour germany and are embarking on a Midwest/west coast/southwest/florida tour this summer.

Exquisite Punk Rawk!

"This record has a ton of good stuff going on. Everything for Free Jazz to kick yer balls in Experimental, Instrumental indie stuff. A great band with a great sound from a great city."
Most amazing thing i've ever heard

"Blame Game has grown by leaps and bounds over their 5 year existence. This cd proves it. From discordant, spazzy, distortion laiden hardcore to the don cabellaro meets jeff buckley, godflesh and captain beefheart in a blender sound they have now. If I hadn't seen them live a few times recently I'd say this is the most amazing thing I've heard. But...their newer songs are insane. Time changes galore, melody galore and free jazz inspired improvisational segments. Wow. Definitely a band to watch out for. Keep your eyes/ears open."
