"I first heard Blackie and the Rodeo Kings when I picked up their "High or Hurtin'" CD in a shop in Jasper while on holiday from Scotland. I thought it was great. This one is even better! From the opener "49 Tons" till the last track on the second CD there's not a weak track. Boredom never gets a look-in. All styles are here from the Hank Marvin/Ventures/Dick Dale sounding "Summer Dreams Winter Sleep" thru the Band-like "Tombstone" . Willie P. Bennetts brilliant compositions "Red Dress" and "The Lucky Ones" are however for me the highlights but it's the type of recording that grows on hearing - one that is timeless in feel and quality. Buy it NOW!!"

"I first met Tom Wilson in the mid-80's when he was a member of the Florida Razors, and I was a simple bartender at the Gown & Gavel in Hamilton, ON. We've both gone on to bigger/better things. In Tom's case, this collaboration with Colin Linden and Stephen Fearing has a big, beautiful, varied sound. If you love good rock'n'roll, buy this record. Such a warm collection of music, it reminds me of old dear friends past and present."
