Particularly the first two pieces and the last two pieces and the cello improvisation. A tangled web of manipulated sounds. It seems like, with a four-track recorder and some low-budget processing equipment, they are discovering and re-vitalizing concepts that have been spoken about by John Cage and others, but from a non-academic/primative standpoint. Creating homemade music with a deep appreciation for the organic symphony of sounds in everyday life."
