GOOD STUFF

"This is good live stuff, but I would kiss a truck stop toilet seat to be able to purchase this bands first three studio releases."
It's too bad it's only one night

"Black N' Blue was one of the victims of the demise of pop metal in the late 1980s. It had a decent run -- four Geffen records -- and some moderate MTV airplay of two videos. This live album encompasses the best of those songs in a one-night show in the band's hometown of Portland, Oregon. The rawness of the LP makes you feel as if you attended the show. The band sounds great and looks great, too. They are out of the glam scene. Guitarist Tommy Thayer, who wrote a few songs for Kiss, has started EON records. We only can hope Black 'N Blue releases more music on this or any other label."
I was there- and yes, it sounded this good!

"I first saw B&B in Texas, 1985, opening for Kiss. Two years ago I had by chance relocated to Portland where the band originated, and was lucky enough to attend this one-off reunion show at Key Largo (now called "Ohm".) Think and say what you will about the 80's "hair bands", but these guys were the real deal, and this performance proves it- Definitely seasoned pros! Unfortunately the reunion was only temporary, so I'd love to see their back catalogue reissued on CD!"
