CD Reviews

Its a fast album, and its damn good

"Im gonna keep it short. The cd is damn good. The whole album is fast, and i mean FAST. Bizzy brings out all of his voices, high and low vocals. Its a short cd with a pack. It also has a new feeling to it. My favorite song Gangsta, the first verse bizzy says about 10 words in the start and just speeds up and doesnt stop. The song reminds me of (The Roof is)On Fire from his first album. Except Gangsta has a dark feeling to it, the bass pounds and he drops a 3rd verse. Excellent song, excellent album. Highly recommend for any bone fan that enjoys the original "thug" sound. Bizzy really has perfected his style."

"I own almost every solo Bizzy Bone album, I am going to say this independant album is one of the best. I like the lyrical content, after sampling A song for you, this album is as strong or stronger. I dont like singing too much (this album has none) and IT's 1999 is a GEM. Gangsta tricks you in thinking that within the first 10 second the song may be terrible but once the flow starts you are blown away. Awesome. There is no way this deserves less than 4 stars.... Every songs flow lives up to A.O.D....."
A Pre-Up Before the Re-Up

"Bizzy Bone never seems to amaze me. With his latest release before his major label return with Virgin just weeks away; Bizzy drops his strongest independent album to date.

"Ruthless" states it all; Bizzy has perfected his style and master his craft finally. Each track he gives his all and then some, rapping faster than what he was well known for and even brings Pitbull & Rick Ross (each track that these guys are on are fantastic) along for the ride. Plus, the last track "Rollercoaster" reunites him with Layzie Bone since Bizzy left the group back in 2005 & the whole Bone Brother compilations; this track could be a leading single if needed.

Production is much better than Trials and Tribulations and it compliments Bizzy in his flow patterns. Bizzy's content seems to get better each time he puts out an album, ranging from his personal experiences to the streets to religion and so forth; a much better lyricist than he use to be.

Overall, this is a great pre-major label release that gears him up before "A Song for You" drops in a couple of weeks from now. Until then, Bizzy fans, go out and snag this album."
