Biosphere's music is one of the things that made the film Insomnia so great, so chilling (figuratively and literally).
But that needn't matter, for this is entrancing as a stand-alone album and ranks amongst my favorite work of Biosphere. Even if I hadn't seen the film, this music would still make me picture glaciers and misty fjords. This won't appeal to all listeners of Biosphere and/or ambient. It's cold, dark, haunted, lonely music. Recommended to listeners of dark ambient." |
