"from a down-home hip-hop groove to a (real) latin music influenced rock (not like the [stuff] you hear today) to a 'chili peppers' funk and to experimental fusion jazz-like jams, these guys were awesome. this album isn't a rock-centric as their first, but much more matured and original. break out of the same old [music] and get into billygoat. you have to listen to it more than once to get into it, but once you do, it will stick.some funked-out lyrics that stick with you once you're into this album are:
"i'd rather be a janitor in outer space, than to be a millionaire in this f---ed up place"
"so don't you come talkin that fire and brimstone crap! i will not say a name, i will not give a name...."
