My favorite album -

"This album has touched me in so many ways. I have worn this CD out because it goes with me everwhere. I first saw Billy live with Jann Arden at Minneapolis' Fine Line Music Cafe on July 7, 1996, and fell in love with his sound. His music is written right from his soul. He moves along the lines of Kenny Loggins on some songs, with his own acoustic folk sound. I own over 300 CDs and this is the one I ALWAYS come back to. NOONE even comes close. His follow-up album "Earthbound" comes much more from his heart and is more autobiographical of what has happened in his young life. I can't wait for Billy to come back to Minneapolis. Billy replied to my email to his website and will be back from recording in Europe soon. Keep singing, Billy - your addicts need more."
This is one of the best albums I have ever heard.

"Billy Mann is a soul man. He has a range of emotion on this album that is rare to come by. The sadness over the loss of his wife is evident, but so is his sense of hopefulness. A man with emotion is the sexiest thing on earth. I had a chance to meet him at an outdoor concert venue here in Detroit, and was amazed at the human. He is a funny guy, and very sweet. I f you have the chance to see him, do not miss it- you won't be disappointed!"

"A friend gave this to me. She knew I love stuff that speaks to the soul. It is a little funky, a little jazzy.I bounce and clap and shake my imaginary.... whatever they are called as I drive."
