First of all it's quite different to all other Cobham Cds, "Drums By Design" is one of the smoother Cds - which doesn't mean that it is Smooth Jazz. The songs are funky and have the typical Cobham chops and great drumming and real great music! There are quite a number of beatiful tunes,mostly when the great Ernie Watts does the sax work. A must have!"
