CD Reviews4 & 1/2 really! Carl Johnson | Detroit, MI United States | 12/31/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "Fine intellegent jazz with unique chord structure to the titles. Not fusion, but not NOT fusion either! The elements of be-bop are apparent, yet do not override Bill's sound. The fusion elements are not subtle, but they are not overpowering either. This CD has really grown on me over the year or so that I have owned it. I would suggest it to modern instrumental jazz lovers with a lust for intellegent writing and playing. My only complaint is there could have been a fuller bass sound, but again, good art grows on. Very VERY good spin!"
