They never got the acclaim they deserved. Down in splendour got some notice, but not enough. Like Dodgy, Bike move towards the light having experienced the darkness. This isn't mindless get happy Pop, nor bad trip bummer music. This is a great album by a very intellegent person. Brilliant recording, amazing guitar playing, fantastic songwriting. Too bad everything is upsidedown, this could be a hit. Great example of a classic Neve console."
